JUMP ROPE

I used the jump rope again last night for 30 minutes and then I did some of the stretches from the Insanity Workout Program. I didn’t use the CD because I’ve pretty much memorized all the stretches that are shown in all videos. You would memorize it too if you were to do it 6 times a week for almost two months. LOL.

My HipHopAbs DVD have been shipped so I can’t wait for them to get here. It will probably arrive early next week. I can’t wait. :)

I AM BACK

You didn’t think I was going to stop exercising, did you? LOL. Like the title said, fitness is a journey not a destination. :P

I took a break from working out when my parents were here but  I am back! I started yesterday with the jump rope. I jump nonstop for 40 minutes. Yup. It was hard but that’s what happens when you don’t exercise for almost a month.

I am planning to order hip-hop abs because I wanted something different this time. I might go to Best Buy to check if they have it there. :) I am going to put my dancing skillz (LOL!) to a test. :D

WEEK 8 DAY 4 OF INSANITY

Max Interval Circuit – Done.

It was very hard to do this exercise today because I haven’t been eating a lot these last 4 days. Been so busy. When I am busy, I tend not to eat. My mind tends to wonder off away from me and when that happens I can’t remember to eat. The good thing is that I lost weight. Only the weight that I’ve put these last few weeks, so nothing to be excited about!

Anyway, I was crashing while I was doing this exercise. I felt weak compared to yesterday’s Max Cardio Conditioning. It was awful so I must remember to replenish my body before doing any kind of exercise. :)

Also I might not be able to actually do the last few days of this program, because we are going away on vacay on Friday. O_O. I want to complete it but I wont be able to. When we come back from our Holiday I will purchase HIP HOP ABS and will try that one out. I think it will be so much fun. I also want to try p90x but I have to save money before I get the whole set because it’s too expensive!

Yep! That’s all I have to say for now. :)

Two days off in a row. Oh dear. I’ve just been so busy trying to get everything together for my parents when they get here. I feel so guilty but I am just so tired. Argh… Will exercise tomorrow. Twice if I have to.

WEEK 7 DAY 6 OF INSANITY

Core Cardio Balance – DONE

So I took another day of yesterday because it was, after all, mother’s day. :P I wanted to have a relaxing day with the kiddies. Today was supposed to be my day off but you know, changed of plan.

I did Core Cardio first then Fit Test. I decided to get it out of the way instead of doing it tomorrow with Mac Interval Plyo. I am glad I did. ALL I can say is:

WOW!

I am so impressed with myself. Here is my result:

1.) Switch Kicks: 130 – 130 – 126 – 131 – 141
2.) Power Jacks: 56 – 50 – 56 – 60 – 66
3.) Power Kness: 80 – 87 – 97 – 98 – 106
4.) Power Jumps: 30 – 30 – 36 – 40 – 44
5.) Globe Jumps: 8 – 8 – 10 – 13 – 13
6.) Suicide Jumps: 16 – 13 – 18 – 20 – 21
7.) Push-up Jacks: 12 – 18 – 21 – 23 – 30
8.) Low Plank Oblique: 43 -50 – 58 – 60 – 70

As you can see I did really good except for the globe jumps and suicide jumps. The switch kicks aren’t so hard to do anymore probably because I have been doing it since I started month 2. It is included in the warm up. I used to hate Switch kicks and the heisman but they are no longer hard to do. I actually enjoy those two moves now. The hardest part for me to do is Power jumps and Diamond jumps. They take so much out of me.

So yup. There has been a lot of improvement in my body but Ihave put on weight! My clothes still fit though so I am not sure what’s going on! Could be the muscles. Muscles are heavier than fat so I guess I’ll just think it that way. :)

WEEK 6 DAY 7 OF INSANITY

Max Recovery = Did it last night but my heart wasn’t in it. Almost quit when there was 20 minutes left on the clock but again I pushed through but did very badly on some of the moves especially the push ups. I think I’ll take a day off today. Then start my insanity week 7 tomorrow. Hmn.. We’ll see.
